A poem by Hope Cordes, Writer
I want to be passionate, not crazy
I want to be assertive, not entitled
I want to tell, and be believed
I want you to stop interrupting me
I want you to care that I’ve studied
I want you to value my input
I want you to understand my frustration
Because when I act like a boy I’m a bitch
And when you bump into me
I say sorry.
